Prosecutor’s Office reveals details of the Jerónimo Ángulo case

In a chilling case that has shocked the community of Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, The Attorney General’s Office has managed to obtain custodial measures for a man identified as the person allegedly responsible for the death of his three-year-old stepson.

The events, which occurred on March 5, have left society shocked and have triggered a deep investigation that reveals disturbing details about the alleged murder.

According to the first versions provided by the accused, he reported the disappearance of the minor while he was playing outside the house under his care. He stated that he went to a nearby store and, upon returning, did not find the child.

However, the authorities immediately began search efforts and the The Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Cundinamarca Section, in collaboration with the Sijin, the National Police for Children and Adolescents, and the Military Gaula of the National Army, joined the cause.

The outcome of the investigation was heartbreaking, since the minor’s body was found lifeless near a ravine in the La Aguadita village, a few kilometers from the family residence. The authorities, led by the Attorney General of the Nation (e), Martha Janeth Mancera, worked hard to compile technical and scientific evidence that pointed to the alleged perpetrator of this heinous crime.
