On May 3, according to news from the Thu Duc City Police Department (Ho Chi Minh City), the unit decided to prosecute the case, arresting Hoang Van Quang (34 years old), Nguyen Duc Huy (35 years old) and Nguyen Duc Hoang (31 years old, Huy’s younger brother) – lives together in Nghe An to investigate property theft.
At the investigation agency, this group admitted that because they needed money to spend, Huy and Hoang invited each other to steal property. At around 10:30 a.m. on April 21, Huy rode a motorbike with a fake license plate to take his younger brother to look for “prey”.
They saw Mr. Huynh Van Son (34 years old, from Vinh Long, working as a shipper) riding his motorbike to a restaurant on Hang Tre street (Long Thanh My ward) to eat and leaving his motorbike outside.
At this time, Huy and Hoang saw that the male shipper’s car had not yet taken out the key, so they approached, quickly stole the motorbike and fled to Binh Duong province. At this time, the victim’s car had a box containing 81 orders ready to be delivered to customers.
After that, the two met a person in the area of Highway 1K, Di An City, sold the motorbike for 6 million VND and shared it to spend.
Particularly, 81 orders were declared by 2 suspects to be thrown away, some in the area of Ho Chi Minh City National University, some left in the sold car, the rest were brought by Hoang to Apartment A3-1003, Topaz Home 2 apartment building. , Tan Phu ward, Thu Duc city.
Huy also confessed that he and Quang stole a Honda Wave Blade motorbike from Mr. D.D.M. (29 years old, living in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province at 12:20 on April 14 in front of the Topaz Home 2 apartment building. After that, the two sold the car for 2 million VND, each of them divided 1 million VND to spend.
Particularly, Quang also committed the theft of Mr. LVB’s motorbike (30 years old, residing in Thanh Hoa province) at the Topaz Home 2 apartment building on April 24.
According to the police, Quang, Huy, and Hoang have a history of property theft and drug addiction. Currently, the case is being investigated and clarified by Thu Duc City Police (HCMC).
