Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized that the country will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to invest in business. He proposed increasing the frequency of flights between the two countries to promote trade.
This content was mentioned by the Cambodian Prime Minister during a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the morning of March 6, in Melbourne, Australia. The Heads of Government of the two countries met on the occasion of attending the Special Summit commemorating 50 years of ASEAN-Australia relations.
Congratulating Cambodia on successfully organizing the 5th Senate election, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the results of the election continue to affirm the role and leadership position of the Cambodian People’s Party in this country.

The Head of the Vietnamese Government congratulated Mr. Samdech Techo Hunsen and the leaders of the Cambodian People’s Party. He also conveyed the greetings of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and key Vietnamese leaders to King Norodom Sihamoni and Samdech Techo Hunsen.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the economic development achievements that Cambodia has achieved in recent times.
Chung commented that the Vietnam – Cambodia cooperative relationship has developed stably over the past time. The two Prime Ministers said that the leaders of the two countries maintain regular visits and high-level contacts; Bilateral cooperation mechanisms also continue to be effective.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his counterpart Hun Manet agreed to improve the effectiveness of economic – trade – investment cooperation; Promote connection between the two economies, especially traffic connection.
The Heads of Government of the two countries said that this will be the basis to create new motivation for strengthening cooperation in other fields, continuing to coordinate effectively deploying existing agreements and mechanisms on defense – security.

The two countries also agreed to make efforts to resolve about 16% of unfinished demarcation and marker planting to build a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and sustainable development between the two countries.
Prime Minister Hun Manet agreed to continue paying attention and creating conditions for people of Vietnamese origin in Cambodia to stabilize their lives, integrate into the locality, and act as a bridge of friendship between the two countries; create favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses investing and doing business in Cambodia.
Mr. Hun Manet also proposed increasing the frequency of flights between the two countries to increase tourism and trade connections.
In addition, the two Prime Ministers agreed to continue close cooperation between the two countries as well as with Laos and Thailand to connect traffic, connect tourism, and exploit the tourism potential of the countries.
