Promasidor Angola launched this Thursday, on the Angolan market, the first tea packaged in the country from Camellis Sinesis in Kenya, with premium quality.
According to a statement that Notícias de Angola had access to, the tea called “Top Tea” is a big bet by Promasidor Angola and an innovative product.
Therefore, adds the statement from the business group, the packaging used perfectly seals the sachets, thus preserving the freshness and aroma of the tea leaves, using technology that complies with the company’s strict production controls.
“Our products are governed by quality, accessibility and practical handling, but above all we prioritize food safety. That’s why Top Tea comes in sealed plastic sachets, which contain two individual bags of tea. This better protects the product and makes it safer for consumption”, adds the document.
Tea is one of the most consumed drinks in the world, made from the infusion of processed Camellia Sinesis leaves, which is grown in more than 30 countries.
Promasidor is Africa’s leading food and beverage company and serves more than 850 million people in more than 30 countries on the continent.
Present in Angola for more than 20 years, Promasidor was the second foreign private investment project in the country and has around 200 direct employees.
