Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, Secretary-General of the Progress and Socialism Party, accompanied by a delegation from the Political Bureau that included Saeed Al-Bakali and Saeed Akdad, and members of the Central Committee Kamal Al-Sharaiti and Naji Al-Amari, received a delegation from the coordination of Libyan political parties and blocs headed by Fathi Benkhalifa, Secretary-General of the Libyan Umma Party.

The Secretary-General of the Progress and Socialism Party opened the meeting with a brief presentation on “the depth of relations between the two brotherly peoples of Morocco and Libya.”

The meeting focused on “ways to strengthen relations between the Progress and Socialism Party and coordination of parties, according to joint practical initiatives aimed at emphasizing the extreme importance of the sovereignty of the two countries and preserving their territorial integrity, as they are foundations for the stability and progress of the Maghreb region.”

It is noteworthy that the coordination of Libyan political parties and blocs consisted of Naji Barakat, coordinator of the parties’ coordination, Fawzi Abdel-Al, former member of the Transitional Council, Muhammad Khaled Al-Kuwait, head of the Peace and Prosperity Party, Muhammad Saad Embarak, head of the Civil Democratic Party, and Ali Al-Tarhouni, head of the Centrist Party. National, and Kamal Hudhaifa, for the Peacemakers Organization.
