Health risk due to contained oil
Vienna (OTS) – On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMSGPK), AGES warns against the products “CBD CARTRIDGE, Bedtime” and “CBD CARTRIDGE, Energize” from the manufacturer EUPHORIA TRADE sro (Czech Republic):
The “CBD CARTRIDGE, BEDTIME” (liquid in a cartridge for an electronic cigarette) contains 37.3 percent oil. If this oil gets into the lungs when inhaled, it can lead to serious respiratory diseases. The product therefore contains an ingredient that poses a risk to human health. There is an explicit warning against use.

This warning does not mean that the risk to human health of the product was caused by the producer, manufacturer, importer or distributor. AGES requests consumers not to use any affected products under any circumstances, but to dispose of them immediately or complain to the point of sale. The Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection will take further measures if necessary.
