The governor Osvaldo Jaldo He took one of the definitive steps for the reactivation of the Procrear II neighborhood, after more than a year and a half of paralysis for adjustments in the national public works. And while the contracts with the companies in charge of the project were signed, at least a couple of weeks must be expected to return to the work on the 100 -hectare site located in the southern part of the capital.
It happens that the businessmen nucleated in the Tucuman Chamber of Construction (CTC) were notified by the Mortgage Bank, a trustee agent of the missing plan procreate, on technical inspections that will take place between 14 and 17 of this month, in order to verify the situation (level of progress, materials, equipment, etc.). In this way, the twenty signatures awarded the sheets tendered in 2022 maintains the treatment to terminate the agreements with the financial entity, which prevents any type of activity on the site bordering the southern spring.
Apart from these obstacles, in the Government House they maintain optimism with respect to the possibility of resuming tasks throughout this month, as stated when the transfer of the procrear II of the national orbit to jurisdiction of the province was confirmed.
“An important step”
While the link with the Mortgage Bank is resolved, Jaldo led an act with the entrepreneurs to seal the agreement for the procrear II, in line with the DNU validated by the legislature in the June 26 session.

The Procrear II, which had been initiated in 2023 by the management of Alberto Fernández, was suspended with about 10% progress within a few months due to lack of funds. With the provincialization of the work, the intention is to respect the fundamental guidelines of the project, which includes 1,656 homes of three typologies (duplex, strips and towers), 1,491 lots with services and 50 commercial premises, in addition to the infrastructure and sectors destined for green spaces, health, education and culture.

The Business Chamber, in the letter to Jaldo, recalled that the Ministry of Economy of the Nation ordered the transfer of the Sunday ownership of the property in favor of the province of Tucumán. However, they added in the entity, the Mortgage Bank communicated in the letter document that “it will resume the possession of the properties corresponding to each sector, taking the possession” of each. Therefore, he advised on the “convenience” that inspections scheduled by the Mortgage Bank concur, in order to “ensure the continuity of the entrepreneurship of the modality and conditions set by the new principal, that is, the province.” The intention is that, in that act, the Tucuman government begins to exercise the ownership of the property, in order to reactivate the work before August.

The act of signing the contracts for the reactivation of the procrear II of Tucumán had a large concurrence.
