These are busy times for the Danish royal house, as Queen Margrethe (83) will step down as queen on Sunday and hand over the throne to Crown Prince Frederik (55).

Despite so much work to do, they naturally take time to celebrate the youngest children of the crown prince couple, Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, who will turn 13 on Monday.
On the royal house website they shared a new photo of the twins, but according to Billed Bladet the photo was not taken on today’s birthday. In fact, there is speculation whether the image has been modified.

The photo is, by all accounts, from big brother Prince Christian’s 18th birthday in October. Family photos of the Danish Crown Prince and the Queen were also shared at that time.
Vincent wore a dark suit with a light blue tie. The sister was also dressed in a suit, but with a light blue shirt underneath with a pin on the jacket. The 13 year olds are wearing the same one in today’s photo.

If you study the photo carefully, you also see that they pose exactly like in October. Both smiles and the way the hands are positioned are apparently the same.

It is not known whether the photo of the twins was photoshopped, as Biled Bladet speculates. The royal family has so far not commented on the hypothesis.
