Prilly Latuconsina Blasphemed for Cooking Eid Menu Using Subsidized Gas, Here’s the Clarification

JAKARTA – Prilly Latuconsina gave an explanation after being criticized by netizens because she was caught using subsidized gas when cooking Eid menus at her home.

Via her personal Instagram account, Prilly Latuconsina admitted that initially she did not know anything about the subsidized LPG gas.

“Honestly, I didn’t realize it at first until I was reminded by all of you,” said Prilly Latuconsina, quoted from Instagram @prillylatuconsina96, Wednesday (10/4/2024).

Upon receiving protests from netizens, Prilly Latuconsina immediately asked the people at home. Apparently, the green gas did not belong to Prilly’s family, but was lent to her by the gas customer at her house.

“Yesterday I immediately asked the people at home and it turned out that the gas cylinder was actually lent to me by a regular gas technician. Because the stock of gas that you usually buy ran out,” explained Prilly.

The film actor Budi Pekerti also denied deliberately hiding the subsidized gas. In fact, he was not aware of this condition.

“There was no intention of hiding it or anything because it was in the back of a shopping bag. I didn’t complain either,” said Prilly Latuconsina.

After the new gas came back into stock, Prilly immediately replaced her gas with the pink one.

“When my regular gas technician came and brought the gas that I often ordered, I immediately replaced it and I returned the gas,” explained Prilly Latuconsina.
