President Berkane praises the behavior of the Moroccan public

Hakim Ben Abdullah, President of the Nahdet Berkane Football Club, said that the arrival of the delegation of the Algerian club USM Algiers to the Kingdom of Morocco to conduct the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final “took place in good conditions.”

Ben Abdullah said, in a statement to the press this afternoon in front of Oujda-Angad Airport, where he was accompanied by a number of officials from the Berkane team waiting for their Algerian counterparts: “Praise be to God, Kelchi Daz Meziane, and the Kingdom of Morocco with its equipment and the Royal Moroccan Football League is known for its good reception.”

The same spokesman added: “I thank the airport officials who facilitated the procedures, and the Moroccan fans who always welcome their guests to the country of generosity,” and continued: “We welcome everyone, and tomorrow we will hold a football match, and whoever is at the highest level will qualify.”

It is noteworthy that the Algerian USM team arrived at Oujda-Angad Airport around five in the afternoon, Friday, on board an Egyptian plane that took it on a direct flight authorized by the Moroccan authorities from Algeria’s El Houari Boumediene Airport.

The return match between RS Berkane and USM Algiers will take place next Sunday, starting at eight in the evening at Berkane Municipal Stadium.
