The Malagasy teams, men and women, are preparing eagerly for the 28the CAVB-Zone 7 club championship, which will be held in Madagascar from February 24 to March 2. An opportunity presents itself to them this Sunday, February 18 at the Petit Palais Mahamasina, where they will have the opportunity to train together and make a presentation. This initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Analamanga Regional Volleyball League (LRVBA) and the Malagasy Volleyball Federation (FMVB). Nine Malagasy clubs will have the honor of representing the Big Island during this prestigious event, with four men’s teams, namely Gnvb, Asi, Cvbf and Cosfa, as well as five women’s teams, including Gnvb, Stef’Auto, Asi, Squad and Bi’As. According to Zo Arimala, president of the LRVBA, this day of preparation is of capital importance. “ This is a preparation and we try to schedule all these clubs to meet during the day, both for men and women, even if we do not manage to have three winning sets per match. It is also an opportunity to get into the competition well and, at that time, the clubs will be able to present their reinforcements during the Championship,” he explains.
