Premier League… A positive draw hangs over the match between Al-Suwaihli and Abu Salim

Misrata, January 17, 2024 (Al-Anbaa Al-Libya) – A positive 1-1 draw overshadowed the meeting between “Al-Suwaihli” and its guest, “Abu Salim”, in a postponed match for the fifth round of the first leg for the teams of the second group, of the “Libyan Premier Football League”, in the match that brought together The two teams are on the ground of “Al-Suwaihli” Stadium in the city of Misrata.

The confrontation was held yesterday, Tuesday, and was mediated by referee Hussein Al-Ajni, in which Al-Suwaihli succeeded in scoring in the 35th minute, through a penalty kick successfully executed by his Moroccan professional, Mohamed Al-Ghaqia, ending the minutes of the first session with his team leading by a single goal.

In the second half, “Abu Salim” tried to adjust the balance on more than one occasion, threatening its host’s goal a lot, and at the beginning of the 64th minute, the referee of the match, “Hussein Al-Ajni,” awarded a penalty kick to the “Abu Salim” team after obstructing its player, “Abdul Raouf Al-Shibli,” by Defender Abdel-Rahim Al-Triki was approached by player Mohamed Al-Kasta, thus adjusting the score.

In the 38th minute, the match witnessed the red card being shown to Al-Suwaihli player “Mahmoud Bin Wali” after obstructing the player “Firas Shaliq”, so his team completed the match with (10) players.

With this result, each team added a point to its score, bringing “Abu Salim” with (11) points in fourth place, on the group’s ranking list, while “Al-Suwaihli” sits at the bottom of the standings with (5) points, (Al-Anbaa Libyan Misrata) A/Sh.
