Portaltic.-EcoFlow presents an alternator charger designed for road trips

EcoFlow has introduced a new alternator charger designed for road trips that also serves as an emergency vehicle starter, avoiding the use of gas-powered generator sources.

The new alternator charger has been designed so that users of cars, caravans and camper vans can have fast charging capabilities by taking advantage of the excess energy generated by the vehicle’s alternator.

The company has highlighted that with this charger, users can simultaneously drive and recharge EcoFlow power stations, avoiding dependence on static gas-powered power sources or generators.

The alternator charger offers an output power of 800W and charges from DC to DC, with efficiency of 1 kWh of energy in 1.3 hours, eight times faster than taking a 12V cigarette charger from a vehicle, such as the company points out in a press release.

This device also serves as an emergency vehicle jump starter and incorporates a battery maintainer to improve the life of the vehicle’s starting battery as it can power the vehicle’s battery from a connected portable power station.

The alternator charger can now be purchased on the EcoFlow website and on Amazon at an official price of 329 euros.
