“The great floods spread mourning and devastation in several regions of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi,” said the leader of the Catholic Church during Wednesday’s general audience in St. Peter’s Square, at the Vatican.
After expressing sorrow and solidarity with the populations, Francisco said he begged “for comfort and support for all who were affected by this calamity”.
