He seems as if he would cut his teeth for young talents. But now the former figure skating star Yevgeniy Plushenko has run out of patience and has filed a lawsuit against the parents of one of his charges who left him for his rival Eteri Tutberidze! What pissed him off?
To be part of the figure skating family Plushenko’s Angels? For many novice athletes, this may seem like a dream. And the young Arina Parsegovová, who is celebrating her 12th birthday this year, was probably in a similar situation.
She first learned to skate under the tyranny of the despotic coach Eteri Tutberidze, from whom she later went to join Plyuchenko at his academy. But then he returned to the coach, who is connected with the doping case of the young Russian figure skater Kamila Valiyevová. Now, in addition, Arina’s mother will probably have to go to court.
According to the TASS agency, Plushenko’s Angels Academy is suing the parents because Arina Parsegov’s representatives did not fulfill the terms of the contract. Now the set of the gold medalist from the Games in Turin claims about 1.9 million rubles, which is approximately 477 thousand crowns.
“We filed a lawsuit for the return of money that was not returned to us. The terms of the contract were not fulfilled, so we decided to submit the documents for consideration by the court. The defendant is Arina Parsegova’s mother,” Rudkovská told the agency.
Although Plushenko looks like he would breathe for young talents, with this step, the passionate supporter of Vladimir Putin makes it clear that it is not advisable to mess with him.
