March 8, International Women’s Day, it’s nice to have dedicated 24 hours to it! But from you to me, since women are still far from enjoying the same privileges as men, equality before the law is not acquired and while waiting for men and women to be taken care of in the same way by the judicial system, perhaps granting 365 days – 366 in leap years – to have the injustices suffered by women recognized would not be too much!
Will you contradict me? But then, when could we dedicate “an international day for the protection of men’s prerogatives”? You might laugh, but humor is never misplaced!
Ladies and gentlemen, whatever the reason, having to take a special day to proclaim injustices based on gender is an ignominy! It is to deny what we are: humanity!
Yes, there is a female gender. Yes, there is a male gender. But above all, there is the man with a capital H! And we tend to forget that.
That human beings have always wanted to have an ascendancy over their fellow human beings has been demonstrated throughout our history. But we find ourselves at the dawn of major questions for the future of our planet and our survival. World peace is more than uncertain because our society is corrupt.
Power, authority, influence… All this is just nonsense!
Misogyny, misandry, patriarchy… Completely anachronistic!
Our road is strewn with stumbling blocks. If we do not want to slide into the abyss, we must form a framework in which each thread ensures the strength and malleability of the whole: humanity!
May March 8 be the echo of our desire for harmony!
