PKB Reveals There is a Deparpolization Phenomenon, This is What It Means

JAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI Faction National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid revealed the phenomenon of deparpolisasi that is currently developing. This phenomenon is said to have weakened the function of political parties.

“There is a kind of deparpolisisasi in quotation marks. Political parties usually think of it today with volunteers,” said the public discussion of the PKB MPR RI faction, at the Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (12/8/2024).

According to him, the emergence of volunteers is currently making political parties seem weaker in carrying out their party duties.

“So sometimes volunteers can intervene in decisions in the party. They can even change policies and people in the party,” he said.

This phenomenon, according to him, will create overlap and at the same time make the pillars of democracy called political parties not stronger in the future, but weaker.

“When political parties become weaker, other leadership candidates from political parties cannot work for the people. They cannot work for the welfare of the people, but work based on orders given to leadership candidates, that is a political party,” he concluded.
