Piraeus / Mechanical breakdown on a ship – Inconvenience for 453 passengers

The passenger ferry “Apollon Hellas” suffered a mechanical failure in the left main engine, which returns with 453 passengers in the port of Piraeus.

The ship had left the port in order to perform his planned itinerary for Aegina, Methana and Poros. According to the Coast Guard, the passengers will be forwarded to their destination by the ship’s owning company.

A passenger who spoke to the SKAI camera noted that there was terror inside the boat as it shook a lot.

However, the information that the passengers had is that they will return back to Piraeus and the route will not be carried out normally due to some breakdown, which is not alarming.
