Pimping ring / Minor victims and another spiral – How the horrific case was revealed

Among the accused, there is one 55 years old accused of pimping and acts of procreation with minor.

THE 55 years old is one of them “customers” of the circuit and has previously been accused of rape, pimping, sexual acts with a minor for pay and extortion.

It is noted that in today’s (19/3) announcement, ELAS stated that two more people, “ages 55 and 36, were arrested for the case accused of the crime of human trafficking serially, once and continuously” and are expected to be taken to the prosecutor.

“In the context of an investigated case of forcing underage girls into prostitution in hotels in the center of Athens, by the Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors of the Attica Security Directorate, a broad police operation was planned and coordinated in an even and methodical manner during the two days of March 17 to 18, 2024 in Byrona, Aegaleo and squares of Attica and Omonia.

As part of the operation, four nationals (25-year-old, 25-year-old, 54-year-old and 21-year-old) were identified and arrested on the basis of warrants for the crime of serial human trafficking, once and continuously.

The 25-year-old was additionally arrested for drug trafficking based on the arrest warrant issued against her.

In particular, from the summer of 2023, the 25-year-old recruited seven minor girls who had reached the age of 14, after previously having developed a friendly relationship with them, facilitating meetings with clients, with the aim of sexually exploiting them in half-board hotels in the center of Athens.

The 25-year-old received part of the money from the meetings and often accompanied them to the meeting points herself. Furthermore, in some cases, instead of money, he supplied the victim with narcotics.

The 25-year-old and the 54-year-old supported the transport and delivery of the girls to the hotels using their vehicles.

The 21-year-old sexually exploited one of the underage girls, having received part of the money.

As part of the operation, digital evidence and a small amount of narcotics were seized.

Those arrested were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office and later to the investigative authority.”
