Naila Parveen Piya is the first woman in the country to hold the responsibility of the first head of production in the television broadcast arena. Naila Pia said in this context, Independent Television did not hold her back as a woman. Independent Television has proved that a woman can be given a position of responsibility if she is qualified.
Nayla Pia also said that in the age of new media, new creative works should be increased to maintain the quality of television and audience acceptance. We see digital and television audiences alike. But the audience and needs of these 2 mediums are different. So I want to work on making productions according to the needs of viewers of television and digital and its acceptance. Also want to work on gender equality.
Naila Piya previously worked with Jamuna TV and Ekushey TV. He has been working in this television broadcast arena for 18 years since 2006.
Naila Pia completed her Honors and Masters degree in Folklore from Rajshahi University. In the university he worked in ‘Samakal Natyachakra’. He played lead roles in several stage plays including ‘Shakuntala’, ‘Kabi’, ‘Basant’. He won gold medal in acting in inter-university competition in 2005.
