He said this at the seminar titled ‘Russell’s Viper: Fear vs Fact’ organized by Bangladesh Society of Medicine at Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Convention Hall on Thursday (June 27).

Addressing the journalists, the health minister said that he heard from the leaders of medicine in Bangladesh what to do and what not to do if Russell is infected with viper. Deliver these messages to the people. You can convey the message to people not to panic about Russell’s Viper.
Mentioning the importance of taking snakebite patients to a doctor quickly, the health minister also said that parliamentarians have many hands, there are members, there are chairman. If you take the responsibility of bringing the patient to the hospital and bring them to the doctors quickly. Then proper treatment can be ensured. Doctors are treating.
He said, the patient should be brought on time. Doctors can’t do that anymore. But we can save the patient as soon as possible. Please don’t spread this false information that people who don’t have vaccine have died. People panic when given wrong information. Russell’s viper antivenom is available in every hospital in Bangladesh.
