Mr. Huynh Quang Hung – Chairman of City People’s Committee. Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) has just signed a notice to temporarily suspend the exercise of land owners’ rights for 9 land use rights certificates (red books) in Phu Quoc area. The total area of these 9 plots of land is nearly 106,000 square meters (nearly 10.6 hectares).
The decision was made to not cause damage to State interests, legitimate rights and interests of relevant organizations and individuals in the process of checking land allocation and issuing red books to citizens.
The temporary suspension of transactions with the above 9 plots of land is carried out according to the inspection conclusion issued in March 2023, by the Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee on inspection of management responsibilities and handling of violations of land and forest land.
