New Delhi (Vishvas News). Aam Aadmi Party recently organized a rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Adding to this, a picture of the rally is rapidly going viral on social media. The photo is being shared and it is being claimed that it is of a rally organized by AAP and ‘Indi’ alliance, in which lakhs of people came to participate.

Vishvas News in its investigation found that the viral claim is false. The viral picture has no connection with the ‘Indi’ alliance rally held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Actually, this picture is of a rally organized by the Communist Party of India (CPI) at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata in the year 2019. People are now sharing this picture as a rally of ‘Indi’ alliance.

To know the truth of the viral picture, we searched the photo with the help of Google reverse image. During this time we got the viral picture People’s Democracy (archive link) and People’s Dispatch Found in reports published on the website of (archive link). The reports were published in February 2019. According to available information, the viral picture is of a rally organized by the Communist Party of India (CPI) at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.

Based on the information received, we started searching on Google with the help of related keywords. During this time, we found the viral picture on India Content (archive link), a website which has a collection of photos, videos, reports and audios. While sharing the photo on 3 February 2019, it has been described as a rally of the Communist Party of India. The Communist Party of India had organized this rally at Brigade Parade in Kolkata.

The Communist Party of India also picture (archive link) was shared from his official X account in the year 2020.

This picture has gone viral earlier also with different claims. At that time, Vishvas News had investigated the viral claim and revealed the truth and contacted Dainik Jagran’s Kolkata Bureau Chief JK Vajpayee. We had shared the viral picture with him. Finally, we scanned the account of the user who shared the viral picture with the false claim. We found that the user shares a post related to Viradhara. The user has described himself as a resident of Patna on his profile.

Conclusion: Vishvas News found in its investigation that the viral picture of the rally has no connection with the ‘Indi’ alliance rally held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Actually, this picture is of a rally organized by the Communist Party of India (CPI) at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata in the year 2019. People are now sharing this picture as a rally of ‘Indi’ alliance.
