Peruvian team will play with El Salvador prior to the Copa América

Jorge Fossati’s team will have a final test six days before their debut in the Copa América USA 2024

The peruvian team announced today the holding of a friendly match on Friday June 14 at 7:30 p.m. against The Saviorin it Subaru Park stadium in Philadelphia. This meeting will be the last before the Copa America 2024which will begin on June 20.

The announcement was made through Official Twitter of the national team, thus confirming its participation in American lands. This match will give the coach Jorge Fossati the opportunity to refine details in the team for the South American tournament.

He president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF)Agustín Lozanoexpressed his confidence in the team’s work and his preparation for the Copa America 2024. Likewise, he highlighted the coordination with the technical command to carry out this important meeting.

For his part, the national team manager, Franco Navarro Mandayodetailed the logistical aspects of this confrontation scheduled for the June 14th. He indicated that, within the planned planning, it was planned to play two friendly matches before the continental tournament, one at home and the other in the United States. Holding this match on US territory will allow the team to work in America for at least ten days before the start of the international tournament.
