After a decline in remittances fresh grapes In the last weeks of 2023 the product continued with the same trend as at the beginning of the new year. During the first week of 2024, Peruvian fruit exports totaled 32,630 tons, or 33% less than what was shipped in the same period last year.

During the week, Peruvian grapes reached 30 destinations, among which the United States continues to lead the list, with a participation of 55%. Behind were China, with 14%, and Mexico, with 9%.
17,811 tons were exported to the United States, 40% less than the previous year. On the other hand, shipments to China amounted to 4,569 tons, 9% more than the previous season. And in the case of Mexico, shipments totaled 3,086 tons; 27% more than the previous campaign.
As for exporters, 55 Peruvian companies participated, including Corporación Agrolatina SAC, with a 10% stake and with shipments to the United States (85%) and Taiwan (4%). Behind is Agrícola Don Ricardo SAC, with 8% and shipments to the United States (31%) and China (26%). El Pedregal SA closes the podium, with 8% and shipments to the United States (79%) and Mexico (8%).
