Persebaya Ready to Perform Trengginas at Borneo FC’s Home

Persebaya Surabaya ready to appear trendy when visiting Borneo FC headquarters in the 2023/2024 League 1 follow-up match at Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, Thursday (7/3/2024) evening WIB. The victory against PSS Sleman last week will be used as capital to secure three points.

Coach Persebaya Paul Munster stated that he was confident that his team could overcome Pesut Etam’s resistance in the next match. Because of this, the players are ready to appear top-notch in this match even though they are the visiting team

“We are optimistic that we can get points. Because our players understand what we want. Their mentality is to win,” said Paul Munster, quoted from the PT Liga Indonesia Baru (PT LIB) page, Wednesday (6/3/2024 ).

The coach from Northern Ireland said his team would not be afraid of Borneo FC, who is currently at the top of the League 1 standings with 63 points. Meanwhile, Persebaya is in tenth position with 35 points.

“I don’t care who our opponents are. Our mentality is always to win,” he said.

Paul Munster said his team had prepared quite well so far. Persebaya has also dissected Borneo FC’s playing style which can be used as capital for this match.

“I’ve seen Borneo FC play. They have good players, and I even have former players there. But our team also has the same quality, and we are ready to compete,” he added.
