Perindo Must Win in 2024 Regional Elections, to Provide Concrete Solutions for Indonesia

JAKARTA – National Daily Chairperson of DPP Perindo Party Angela Tanoesoedibjo said that the Perindo Party must win the 2024 Pilkada. This is so that the party with the Eagle symbol can spread its wings and provide concrete solutions for Indonesia in the future.

“The Perindo Party must be present, must win. Present for the community to provide concrete solutions to Indonesia’s future challenges,” said Angela at the 2024 National Working Conference (Mukernas) at the Jakarta Concert Hall (JCH) iNews MNC Center Complex, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (30/7/2024).

On that occasion, Angela mentioned various challenges for Indonesia in the future. First, related to the demographic bonus which will later become a problem if not managed properly. “Imagine the demographic peak in 2030, then it will continue to decline until 2040 the non-productive age under 15 years old over 64 years old will be very large. This is a vicious circle, this is a problem that must be given attention today, the demographic bonus,” she said.

Second, the advancement of science and technology. Angela said that it needs to be balanced with increased capacity so as not to be left behind by the development of the times. “I, as a young person, agree that we need technological breakthroughs but humans must be empowered, their capabilities must be improved first. This is a problem that technology is not evenly distributed in Indonesia,” she said.

“Efficient technological tools are produced that we will use later. The problem is if we do not improve our human resources, what will happen is that it is not humans who utilize technology but technology that replaces humans,” he continued.

Third, related to the uncertain global conditions. Angela hopes that Indonesia can be independent and not dependent on other countries. “Imagine if the supplier country has problems, what will happen? There are no goods, the price goes up, that’s not something we can control. This is dangerous,” she said.

“We must be able to supply food and energy from our own country. If something happens to another country, we must be strong. People think about what to eat today, if they can’t eat, if this country doesn’t have electricity, this country will be in chaos,” he said.
