On the afternoon of February 17, people continued to return to Hanoi after the Lunar New Year holiday, the last section of the Phap Van – Cau Gie expressway (towards the city center and to the elevated beltway 3) was congested for a long time.
Recorded around 5:00 p.m., the line of cars inched forward meter by meter to move at the end of this highway. Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Department of Traffic Police, Ministry of Public Security) and the highway management unit temporarily closed the road to Ring 3 to reduce the load.
Crowded and traffic congestion also occurs on Ngoc Hoi route (the section in front of Nuoc Ngam bus station). Many people ride motorbikes carrying their belongings back to the city.
Also here, many taxis and motorbike taxis stop and park all over the lane, making traffic movement difficult, with an estimated congestion of about 1km. On Do Muoi street (towards the intersection with Phap Van – Cau Gie expressway), even motorbike taxis and taxis park on the road, going in the opposite direction, causing traffic chaos.
