People are considering this video of Amitabh Bachchan’s AI generated voice as real- Amitabh Bachchan AI Voice Video viral with false claim

Facebook user Mahesh Prajapati Baid shared this video on September 12 (Archive Link) while writing,

“Amitabh Bachchan finally broke his silence and made this video to open our eyes because it’s not too late yet.“

The video says, “Where is humanity in this country, where girls are killed by stoning. Where terrorists are openly supported. Slogans of ‘zindabad’ are raised for the enemy country. Where religion is considered before the constitution. In a country where the existence of Lord Ram himself has been questioned, how successful will that country be as a family in the world. Those who followed their religion here are in 57 countries today, and those who followed brotherhood and humanity are today trying to save their existence in their own country.” At the end of the video, there is an appeal to share it.

To verify the viral claim, we first scanned Amitabh’s social media handles. X And Facebook We did not find any such video on the account.

Even after searching on Google, we did not find any media report that could confirm the viral claim.

To verify the voice used in the video, we ran the first 19 seconds of the audio file through AI detection tool Hive Moderation. The tool found that it was more than 95% likely to be AI generated.

Our Partners DAU (an MCA initiative) checked it using the True Media Detection Tool. The tool indicated the possibility of the use of AI-generated voice in it.

We contacted AI expert Ansh Mehra regarding this. He says that The voice used in it has been created with the help of AI tools.

Facebook shared the video with a false claim User We scanned the profile of the user. The user, who lives in Bayad, Gujarat, has more than five thousand followers.
