The Compensar convention center, in Bogotá, was the epicenter in which the political forces of the ‘En Marcha’ political party, coming from the length and breadth of the country, met this Friday, April 26, to advance the first day of its national assembly. A meeting that will last until this Saturday the 27th and in which, in addition to establishing the internal structure of the group, will be crucial to define the flags with which it seeks to gain greater prominence in the 2026 elections.
It was Juan Fernando Cristo, leader of the community, who opened these two days that began with an ideological forum on what is fundamental for ‘En Marcha’, whose ideals have common places with liberalism and on this occasion, within the framework of the assembly, allowed a pluralistic discussion on topics such as the change reforms proposed by President Petro, centralism vs regionalism and other sections that will be decisive for the next elections.
