Paulo Jazz honored with fine arts exhibition

The Angolan painter and designer, Paulo Jazz, is being honored with a collective exhibition of plastic arts, entitled “Plasticidades Anti-covid’19 – a tribute to the artist Paulo Jazz”, on display at the International Exhibition Hall (SIEXPO), in Luanda.

According to a note that Notícias de Angola had access to, the exhibition held in honor of the artist who died last December, will be on display at the aforementioned location, until the 31st of the current month. 34 artists participate in the event, whose works represent the disciplines of painting, sculpture, tapestry, video, drawing and installation.

55 works are on display selected from the ENSA- Seguros de Angola collection, based on an indicative list from the National Union of Visual Artists (UNAP), among the works on display are Paulo Jazz’s collections, donated by the family.

Inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Jomo Fortunato, the exhibition opened the activities related to January 8th, National Culture Day.
