Pato O’Ward in the top 10 on the first day of competition in Laguna Seca

The Mexican pilot Patricio O’Ward He achieved sixth position in the only training session ahead of the weekend race at the Laguna Seca circuit in California.

Pato O’Ward set a best time of 1m08.0090s to be 0.3700 behind what was done by Scott McLaughlina member of the Penske team that took the best time with a lap of 1m07.6325s.

For this Saturday the teams will have a second practice at 11 a.m. central Mexico time, while the classification will take place at 3:15 p.m.

O’Ward is in fourth position in the championship with 184 points against 236 for Australian Will Power, who is the leader. Alex Palou is second with 231 points.
