Blizzard has just released a preview of Themed Dungeons, a new feature that will arrive next week with Patch 10.2.5 of Flight of the Dragons. You will have the opportunity to go to the dungeons alone, accompanied by NPCs who will help you on your journey. Find the details below.
In Seeds of Renewal, players level 60 to 70 will have the opportunity to tackle the dungeons of Flight of the Dragons in normal mode, alone or with your loved ones, with a little help from some NPC companions. You will be able to obtain gear tailored to your specialization in these dungeons just as you would in any normal dungeon.
Whether you want to try the dungeon alone for the first time or have one or two people accompany you to learn the mechanics and bosses, you can join a queue for this new type of dungeon directly from the Party Finder tool (I).
Dungeons available:
- basins of the Ruby Essence;
- the nokhud offensive;
- Fougerobes cavity;
- Impregnation chambers;
- Algheth’ar Academy;
- Neltharus;
- Blue vault;
- Uldaman: The legacy of Tyre.
Choose your role (heal, DPS, or tank) in the dungeon as you normally would, and NPC companions will round out your party of five.
These new NPC companions will increase your power and even offer you a refreshment table in case you get hungry in the dungeon.
Once inside, you can decide to lead the group, let another person in the group do so, or entrust this role to one of the NPCs in your group. Simply activate the “Dungeon Help” feature to let an NPC lead the way. Your new subjects, whether accompanying or guiding you, will follow your pace and allow you to explore the dungeon and get used to your role.
When you want to take the reins again, you can turn off Dungeon Help by clicking on the updated selection in the center of the screen.
