“Hraparak” newspaper writes: “As we wrote, after the Munich meeting, Armenia-Russia relations entered the stage of open confrontation, which was the demand of the West. finally decide whether you are with us or with Russia.
In an interview with the French media, Nikol Pashinyan fulfilled that demand, stating that Armenia’s membership in the CSTO is frozen, and that Russia attempted a coup in Armenia in September of last year. Official sources report that the West has also raised the question of the inappropriateness of the further tenure of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
It is known that the Soros wing of the government has regularly complained to Pashinyan about Mher Grigoryan, because they consider him a figure of Russian influence and have suspicions that Grigoryan is obstructing the West’s plans in Armenia.
However, they do not consider Mher Grigoryan to be “their” in KP in general and they think that he should be replaced by their teammate, but they do not find a worthy replacement. The relationship between Grigoryan and Babken Tunyan, who is the chairman of the National Economic Committee, is especially tense.
They say in the National Assembly that Mher Grigoryan is lobbying for such projects that serve the money-owning classes. And although many people want to remove Mher Grigoryan, government sources believe that his release is unlikely, because he is a skilled functionary, besides, he performs an important function by leading the demarcation and delimitation commission.”
