A resident of the Russian capital lost a finger in a bar during a party due to a firecracker explosion, Liter.kz reports with reference to the Telegram channel SHOT.
The incident took place in a beer bar on Starovagankovsky Lane in Moscow. During a party dedicated to the establishment’s birthday, an explosion occurred, which led to tragic consequences for 42-year-old Konstantin.
“In the midst of the fun, visitors heard an explosion and saw a man writhing in pain. It turned out that the firecracker that Konstantin decided to set off in honor of the holiday exploded in his hand, tearing off his index finger. As a result of the explosion, the tip of the finger was so destroyed that its parts could not be found,” the Telegram channel writes.
In a panic, visitors began moving towards the exit. The Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene and handed the victim over to medical workers.
“Konstantin, who was relaxing in a bar with friends and drinking beer, said that he was asked to set off a firecracker. He forgot how to do it correctly, and the firecracker exploded in his hand. As a result of the explosion, the man received serious injuries. He was hospitalized and underwent surgery, but the finger could not be restored,” the publication notes.
It is known that the victim works as a children’s fitness trainer and is now forced to deal with the serious consequences of this accident.
