Moroccan cinematic halls are preparing to receive a new tape titled “Kaza Keira”, signed by director and actor Omar Lutfi, and the international producer Nader Belkhaat, famous for “Redwan”, in their second experience in the seventh art world.
This work comes within the framework of a special production that has not benefited from any public support, to be classified as a commercial films box that is betting on attracting the wide audience through comedy and suspense.
The filmmakers chose to promote this project through a short advertising video that included exciting shots that combined “Yiop” Elias Al -Maliki and the artist Hanan Al -Khader, in a move that sparked widespread interaction on social media platforms.
In a statement to the newspaper Hespress, Omar Lotfi expressed his overwhelming happiness by presenting the pre -first show from his second movie this weekend, to formally come out to the cinematic halls on September 17, hoping that the audience will be admired.
The same director continued that filmmakers are living today a renewed hope in Moroccan cinema, and they rejoice on such occasions, noting that the “Kaza Keira” tape is a different comic experience from its direction and the scenario of Mahdi Shehab, and the production of “Redwan”.
Lotfi also highlighted that the work knows the participation of a few of the most prominent Moroccan artistic names, such as Karima Ghaith, Rashid Rafik, Anas Al -Baz, Tariq Al -Bukhari, Hanan Al -Khader, Hafsa Al -Burqadi, Rafik Boubaker, Elias Al -Maliki, and the late actress Naima Bouhamala.
In his speech with Hespress, the director added that the film came after the success of his first experience in directing with the movie “The Champion”, which formed an incentive for him to present a second work that intermarry between comedy and suspense, continuing that it is the fruit of a collective work that believed in the idea and presented exceptional efforts to reach this stage.
The film is betting on providing a different image of the city of Casablanca, as a space that mixes the contradictory reality with human and social details, as it deals with the story of Ismail, outside the prison after 12 years he spent on charges of stealing gold, to enter directly in the inceptions of the absurdity of childhood friend Naseem in order to find a missing gold box, his only owner left a secret map of his body before his death.
The events of the film are intertwined in a plot full of satirical paradoxes, between funerals that turn into chaos, unexpected hospitals and prisons, fake doctors, and wedding parties that turn into exciting adventures, so that the story gradually turns into a game of survival of betrayal, chases and secrets.
The screening of the film takes about 100 minutes, and it is a speaker in the Moroccan dialect, in an experience that is betting on combining laughter and suspense, with an implicit honor of the Moroccan cinema memory by evoking the atmosphere of the movie “Kaza Nikra” directed by Noureddine Al -Khumari, with a contemporary spirit that carries the imprint of a new generation of creators.
