The Peruvian sailor Maria Belen Bazo continues its good performance in the Paris 2024 Olympic Gamesranking fourth in the overall table on Tuesday windsurf female.

This Tuesday was a favorable day for Belén Bazo, who took advantage of her skills in the five races contested. In the third regatta, the national athlete placed fourth; in the fourth, in 12th place; in the fifth, in seventh place; in the sixth, again in 12th place; and in the seventh, in eighth place.

Favorable results

With these results, Belén Bazo added a total of 43 points, reaching fourth place in the overall classification. The competition will continue this Wednesday, July 31stwith five more regattas scheduled.

Maria Belén began her participation in Paris 2024 on Monday, with the first two races held at the Marina de Marseille. This area, with capacity for 12 spectators, offers perfect conditions for competitors due to the absence of currents and tides, and the presence of constant winds.

Twenty-four athletes are competing in the sailing competition. The first in the overall classification goes to the final; the second and third place finishers advance to the semi-finals; and the fourth to tenth place finishers will compete in the quarter-finals.
