Paraguay presented its team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, during an event in the Olympic Park. At the same time they announced the athletes who will carry the Paraguayan flag, which finally went to the rower Alejandra Alonso and the golfer Fabrizio Zanotti.
The Guaraní team is made up of Fabrizio Zanotti (Golf), Gabriela Narváez (Judo), César Almirón (Athletics), Xenia Hiebert (Athletics), Women’s Beach Volleyball Team, Luana Alonso (Swimming), Matheo Mateos (Swimming), Alejandra Alonso (Rowing), Javier Insfrán (Rowing) and the Under 23 Men’s Soccer Team.
The event that begins on July 26 will extend until August 11, placing the French capital under the gaze of the entire sporting world for 19 days of competition.
The opening ceremony will be on July 26, but the first actions will be seen two days before, on the 24th with the first soccer and rugby 7 matches.
