Pakistan to host tri-nation series with New Zealand, South Africa before Champions Trophy 2025

New Delhi: PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi has said that Pakistan will host a tri-series involving New Zealand and South Africa in February, just before the Champions Trophy next year. The PCB Chairman has invited Roger Twose (Chairman of New Zealand Cricket) and Lawson Nayudu (Chairman of Cricket South Africa) to visit Pakistan for a triangular ODI series.
Naqvi said that the upcoming tri-series will be exciting as the Men in Green are hosting the tri-series after a long time. He thanked New Zealand Cricket and South Africa Cricket for agreeing to participate in the tri-series.

Ahead of the T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced that New Zealand will visit the country for a five-match 20-over series. The series will take place between April 18 and 27, with the Kiwis reaching Pakistan on April 14 for adequate training and practice sessions ahead of the T20 World Cup starting in June.
This will be the Black Caps’ third trip to Pakistan in the last 17 months, with the first trip being held from December 2022 to January 2023, when the Kiwis played two Tests and three ODIs against the Men in Green.
The 2022–23 Test series ended in a 0–0 draw, while New Zealand won the ODI series 2–1.
Earlier this year, Pakistan toured New Zealand and suffered a 4-1 defeat in the T20I. The first three T20I matches of the current series will be held in Rawalpindi. After this the guests will go to Lahore for the remaining two matches.

First T20 match in Rawalpindi: 8 April.
2nd T20 match in Rawalpindi: 20 April.
Third T20 match in Rawalpindi: 21 April.
4th T20 match in Lahore: 25 April.
