Ostapenko beat Australian tennis player Ajla Tomljanovic (WTA 271) 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 on Thursday to reach the third round of the Australian Open.
Before that, Ostapenko beat Australian Kimberly Birrell (WTA 116th), who received a special invitation, 7-6 (7:5), 6-1 in the first round match.
