Mr. Brian Eyler is the Head of the Stimson Center’s Southeast Asia Energy, Water and Sustainability Program and is the co-chair of this Dialogue in Vietnam. He is an experienced expert on cross-border issues in the Mekong Subregion and on economic cooperation between China and Southeast Asian countries. He is also Chair of the Stimson Center’s War Heritage Working Group.
Mr. Brian Eyler has more than 15 years of living and working in China and has done extensive research with stakeholders in the Mekong region. He is widely regarded as a leading voice on environmental, energy and water security issues in the Mekong region and has won many prestigious international awards on environment and natural resources.
His first book is called “The Last Days of the Mighty Mekong River” published by Zed Books in 2019.
