Oniel Bebeshito criticized for allowing violence against a fan during a concert in Camagüey

MIAMI, United States. – A young woman who went up on stage and tried to hug singer Oniel Bebeshito during a concert this weekend in Camagüey was violently ejected from the stage by the performer’s security team.

In numerous videos of the incident posted on social media, netizens criticized the violence against the young woman and the inaction of Oniel Bebeshito, who allowed his security team to act, without intervening.

In the various videos published, several members of the singer’s security team can be seen forcibly grabbing the young woman, moving her away from the singer and finally throwing her off the stage by her hair.

In the recordings, some of the people in the audience can be heard saying that this was the young woman’s second attempt to get on stage.

The young woman was identified on Instagram as “latigrezahp”. “I just wanted to touch him, I have nothing else to say, thank you very much to everyone who supported me, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart,” the young woman wrote on that social network. She also assures that she did not want to attack the interpreter of Mandarin brand.

Cuban Internet users also reacted to Oniel Bebeshito’s Instagram post, where the musician shared photos from the concert but did not mention the events. “It’s a disgrace how they treated that young woman, she just wanted to show her affection,” commented one user. “Oniel, your fans deserve respect, not violence,” said another.

“We cannot ignore the abuse suffered by the girl by security and by you as well for allowing this to happen,” wrote the Internet user identified as “lesther_blanco.”

“It was a more than unpleasant attitude that you allowed them to do that to a fan, I think that fame has gone to your head and the humility that you showed at the beginning was only to buy followers, very bad on your part and on the part of the security team, very ugly, just having told her to come down was enough, not mistreating her in that way as if it were just anything,” he added.

“Talk to your security team first so they can avoid bad times and no one gets on, and second so they learn to deal with these types of situations that occur professionally.
