The Presidium of the Austrian Home and Landowners Association with Martin Prunbauer as President was elected for a further term of office at the 2024 Bundestag.
Vienna (OTS) – Attorney Dr. Martin Prunbauer has been President of the Austrian Home and Property Owners Association (ÖHGB) since 2012 and has thus been at the head of the property owners’ representatives for twelve years. With around 30,000 members, the ÖHGB is the largest organization in Austria that advocates for the interests of private property owners. At the Bundestag, which took place this year from June 14-16, 2024 in Graz, Prunbauer was unanimously confirmed as President by the ÖHGB delegates for another two years.
“This vote of confidence is a great honor and a particular pleasure for me, and also a clear confirmation of the course we have taken so far. I see my election success as a mandate to consistently continue my commitment to property,” said Martin Prunbauer immediately after the election. The newly elected president is taking on his role with joy and a sense of responsibility in challenging times. He will also be fully committed to the members of the ÖHGB in his new term of office.
“The current situation on the domestic real estate market is characterized by diverse and complex challenges,” emphasizes ÖHGB President Dr. Martin Prunbauer. “To solve these, we need a strong team.”
The ÖHGB presidium, which was also unanimously elected and newly composed, consists of one representative from each of the individual regional associations and “demonstrates the breadth of our organization. We have bundled specialist knowledge, expertise and the power to implement things in the ÖHGB,” emphasizes Prunbauer.

The Austrian Home and Property Owners Association (ÖHGB, www.oehgb.at) is the largest voluntary interest group for Austrian home, property and apartment owners. The main task of the ÖHGB is to protect and promote private property and to represent the common interests of private property owners.
