As a result of the operation-search measures carried out in connection with the illegal actions of Huseynov Vidadi Gachay oglu, Abdullayev Mahabbat Alish oglu and others, officials of the public legal entity “Ganja City United Hospital”, a criminal case was initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code at the Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.

With operational-investigative measures, Vidadi Huseynov misused his official powers and, in collusion with Mehabbat Abdullayev and others, kept the salary cards of many employees who did not perform any labor function by not coming to actual work in advance, and a total of 364 were transferred to those card accounts in 2021-2024. substantial suspicions of misappropriation of funds exceeding one thousand manats have been established.

Documents and other evidence important to the case were discovered and taken away by the searches conducted in the service rooms of the mentioned officials and other addresses.

On the basis of preliminary evidence, Mehabbat Abdullayev and Vidadi Huseynov were brought in as accused persons and charged with articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement – when it is committed by causing a large amount of damage), 308.2 (when the abuse of official powers leads to serious consequences) and 313 (forgery of the position) of the Criminal Code. was announced, based on the petition of the investigator and the presentation of the prosecutor who conducted the procedural management of the preliminary investigation, by the decision of the court, preventive measures in the form of house arrest were chosen for Mehabbat Abdullayev and Vidadi Huseynov.
