Offers advice on annual declaration

“Declare easily and on time” is Prodecon’s campaign for this season, when individuals are required to submit their Annual Declaration. Last year, 700 people were assisted in the Coahuila delegation with this issue.

The Taxpayer Defense Attorney’s Office (Prodecon) in Coahuila explained that both the password and the electronic signature are valid and if a year has not passed since it was lost, it can be renewed in this office without having to go to the Administration Service Tax (SAT).

If more than a year has passed, then an appointment must be made to go to the SAT to complete the electronic signature renewal process. However, this is not required in all cases, only in some cases, such as when the balance in favor is greater than 10 thousand pesos.

This is to access the refund of the credit balance automatically, which takes five business days. If the Annual Declaration is not submitted, a manual refund request is required, a procedure independent of the Declaration, so the authority would have a period of 40 business days to rule on the request.

“It is necessary that we approach the Attorney General’s Office to resolve any doubts regarding these technological tools that we have, because we could find ourselves in the situation where the authority rejects our refund because we are not complying with this requirement or that we cannot access the balance. in favor, Prodecon is here to assist them in this right,” the Attorney General’s Office reported.

Taxpayers have up to five years to access the possibility of a refund, by submitting the 2018 Annual Return no later than April 30, in the event that a favorable balance is presented.
