NRBC Bank’s deposits increased by 17 percent in the first quarter – 2024-05-12 01:39:58

At the end of March 2024, the amount of deposits of NRBC Bank has increased by about 17 percent. Besides, the asset value per share (NAV) of the bank has increased compared to the same period last year.

This information was revealed in the bank’s first quarter unaudited financial report published on Thursday (May 9).

According to the report, the asset value per share (NAV) of the bank has increased to 18 taka 3 paise at the end of January-March.

It was 17 taka 58 paisa at the same time last year. The Board of Directors’ 184th meeting on Thursday approved the unaudited financial report for the first quarter (January-March). Besides, the asset value per share increased from 17 taka 11 paisa to 17 taka 52 paisa.

The bank’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for January-March 2024 stood at 44 paise and standalone EPS stood at 40 paise.

At the end of March this year, the amount of bank deposits has increased by 17 percent to Tk 18 thousand 308 crores. At the same time last year which was 15 thousand 386 crores. The amount of loans increased by 15 percent to 15 thousand 718 crores. Last year the debt was 13 thousand 665 crores. Besides, the size of the balance sheet at the end of March 2024 was Tk 29 thousand crores, the previous year was Tk 27 thousand 43 crores.

Abu Eshrar and Dr. Rad Mujib Lalon, Managing Director (ongoing duty). Rabiul Islam, DMD & CFO Harunur Rashid and Company Secretary Mohammad Ahsan Habib etc.
