Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria made ugly comments about his country’s captain. Sometimes, comparisons are made between India’s star batsman Virat Kohli and Pakistan captain Babar Azam. Recently, Babar overtook Kohli to become the top run scorer in T20 Internationals. But according to Kaneria, Kohli is a much better player than the Pakistani batsman.
Kaneria told IANS ahead of the India-Pakistan match, ‘If Babar Azam scores a century, the next day you will see him being compared with Virat Kohli. Babar is not equal to Virat’s shoes.’
The former Pakistani spinner said, ‘Babar Azam is nowhere near Virat. Pakistan cricket team is a joke, they don’t care about T20 World Cup. He went to the United States for a vacation with his family.’
Pakistan lost the first match to the United States in a super over. Kaneria got angry at that. They won’t care about India either, said this former spinner, ‘India will lose them badly. They are not capable of defeating India. When Pakistan went to the World Cup, they were praised for their bowling. They say, their bowling will win the match. But they lost the first match due to bad bowling.’
