From Sunday, September 1, it will be on the program of ČT1, in the original broadcast time of the canceled program 168 hours, now newly broadcast comedy humor crime show Warden Toast. This series has thirteen episodes so far and its premiere took place in January 2019. Actor Robert Mikluš has been shining in the main role here for a few years now, portraying Tomáš Topinka himself.
“Warden Topinka was deployed in the original plan, but as 168 dropped out, he will move to her place. There will always be a series premiere before that,” Vendula Krejčová, a press spokesperson for CT, told Blesk daily.
About stopping the broadcast of the program 168 hours it was decided in July by the CEO of ČT Jan Souček and the management of the News and Journalism division together with the Program division. Souček cited repeated violations of binding rules in the processing of reports and inappropriate conversation between moderator Nora Fridrichová and former CT employee Mark Wollner as reasons for ending the program.
Former presenter of the program 168 Nora Fridrichová she rejected these reasons and called them unfair. She stated the following regarding the show’s cancellation: “I think that the mistakes that are being blamed on us, which were supposed to lead to the termination of the 168 hours program, are so small that I do not believe the reasons at all.”
