Eurostar cancels all high-speed trains from London to Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels and vice versa on Saturday due to flooding. This is a total of 41 trains. As a result, thousands of travelers were left stranded.
Trains were no longer running on Saturday morning due to flooding in a tunnel under the Thames in London. This included a train from London to Amsterdam and a train from Amsterdam to London.
At 4.45pm another train was supposed to leave Amsterdam for the British capital, but that one isn’t running either. It is not yet known when trains will start running again. According to Eurostar, the situation in the tunnel has not yet improved.
British media write that the tunnel near Ebbsfleet international station is flooded due to the bad weather that hit the United Kingdom.
