It’s been a while since the Nintendo Switch launched. In fact, it’s almost hard for me to believe that in March, literally in a month and a half, we will be able to celebrate the seventh birthday of the hybrid console from the Japanese giants of the entertainment industry. It must be admitted that they have perfectly met the needs of the players and have anticipated the trends (as demonstrated by the many movements made by others in recent months).
Of course, the strength of the equipment itself was not what it was or the possibilities it offered. With Nintendo it’s always the same: they are nice consoles, but their biggest advantage is the games we can play. And there’s certainly no shortage of them. Exy of the “big N” is the top shelf. Almost always refined, almost always refined and almost always brilliantly engaging.

So today I would like to focus on them. However, this will not be a text about gems, little-known successes or unusual representatives of genres. Especially if you have a team to share the scenic hours with.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (2020)
Escape to an idyllic world at its best. The 2020 production is a life simulation that lets you create and manage your own island. This game is a real phenomenon: it allows you to relax, create your own spaces and interact with charming locals. Every day brings new opportunities and the freedom to create your own space is limitless. And I mean that literally: Check out the materials!
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (2017)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an improved version of the iconic racing game, brought to Nintendo Switch in 2017. Colorful courses, favorite heroes and lots of power-ups: this is the recipe for success. Endless fun, both in solo and multiplayer modes. Each race brings with it new emotions and surprises, and considering that we currently have access to dozens of new routes… it’s impossible to get bored!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from 2018 is a brilliant fighting game featuring your favorite characters from various series. This game offers spectacular fights, incredible combinations of shots and dynamic action, all this with a record number of characters whose arsenal of skills we can use. The ability to play with friends, both locally and online, makes it perfect for evenings full of excitement and fun.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (2019)
There is no point in writing too much here. The plot, extensive character relationships, and complex tactical battles create an extraordinary experience. This game combines classic elements of the Fire Emblem series with new and fresh ideas. And it works great. The three houses in the title add hours of fun to everything and, let’s face it, time spent in this universe is always a great pleasure.
Louis’ Villa 3 (2019)
Luigi in the main role! Nintendo has created a production full of ghosts, but also of humor. A plumber dressed in green sets out to save Mario and his friends, and his journey through the haunted hotel is full of puzzles and surprises. If you’ve played the previous parts, there’s not much that will surprise you in terms of game format, but… This is the biggest advantage of all! Item finished to perfection!
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (2017)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a role-playing game that takes players on an incredible journey through a fantasy world. A complete plot, an extensive combat system and breathtaking landscapes are just some of the elements that make this story unique. It must be admitted that the developers knew exactly what they were doing. What else can you call taking all the best from the previous episodes and modifying it?
Pokémon Sword/Shield (2019)
Why do I choose an episode from four years ago? Well…. This game delights both veterans and new fans. Expanded areas to explore, new Pokemon to capture and innovative Raid Battles are just some of the elements which, while maintaining the classic formula, have managed to introduce some nice new features. This is a new chapter in the Pokémon series that delights and inspires adventures in the world of these iconic creatures. I had a lot of fun.
